1st United Services Credit Union
,

1st United Services Credit Union (1st USCU) has a long history of service in the Bay Area.  We were one of the first credit unions in the State of California founded in 1932 as City & County Employees’ Credit Union.  We originally served employees of Alameda County, however, our field of membership was expanded to include employees of city and county hospitals and schools.

In 1996, CCECU merged with ALFA Federal Credit Union, founded in 1941 as the financial institution for Naval Bases in Alameda, Lemoore, Concord, and Fallon, NV. To more accurately describe the combined civil and military service resulting from the merger, the name 1st United Services Credit Union was chosen.

In 2001, 1st United Services Credit Union became a community chartered credit union. Membership is now open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Alameda or Contra Costa counties in California.  We believe in banking locally and hope you will too.

First Community Bank

First Community Bank was founded with one thought in mind: to allow our banking professionals to completely stand behind their word. To put it simply, we exist to provide commitment with integrity. We are dedicated to providing clients with access to bankers who are empowered to solve problems at their point of origin. We also recognize we are a corporate citizen of our community. We are devoted to see that our community continues to grow and prosper. We are decidedly different.

History

First Community Bank was organized by nine prominent Sonoma County business leaders in 2004. The bank opened its first branch in Santa Rosa in January, 2005, later adding an Oakmont Village branch in March of 2005 and a Petaluma branch located in the theater district in June of that same year. In 2007, First Community Bank entered a new market in Alameda, opening our first in-store branch inside of Nob Hill Foods. First Community Bank is the first new, locally owned and operated bank to open in Sonoma County in 14 years and the first new community bank in Alameda in 8 years.

In November of 2007, we continued our expansion into the Rossmoor Community, in Contra Costa County. In April of 2009 we opened our second grocery store branch in East Petaluma inside the new Raley’s Store. In September 2009, we opened our Marin County Branch in Corte Madera inside Safeway in the Corte Madera Town Center. Now serving four bay area counties, we are truly transforming the local banking industry, one community at a time.

First Community Bank specializes in commercial real estate lending, construction lending and business lending including SBA loans. In addition, we offer a full array of deposit products, cash management services and ACH processing. Because we are locally owned, our principal focus and dedication remain on supporting the businesses and economic health of the communities we live in. Decisions are made locally by people who live in and care about the communities we service.

Each and every employee of First Community Bank is dedicated to providing extraordinary service and consistently delighting our clients. We recognize that individually, we are responsible for our integrity and our moral values which drive our every action. We are committed to our company, colleagues, clients and community, all of whom we consider an integral part of our family.

Come see us today in one of our seven convenient locations and discover just why we are indeed, decidedly different.
