President’s Welcome

The Alameda Chamber of Commerce is devoted to helping the local business community by promoting our members and facilitating opportunities for business. As president I am honored and inspired with the members and appreciate they choose our Island to home their business. Their work and commitment has made our Island unique as well as charming.

Our recent move at The Alameda Towne Centre is a wonderful new location for us, and we're finding it's also ideal for our Alameda Visitors Center. If you haven't been by to see us, please come by and visit. Alameda Town Center and it new facelift is offering Trader Joe, Kohl's, Panera Bread, and many more ideal shopping locations.

Alameda has many businesses locations and sizes, ranging from fortune 500 Companies, such as Abbott and VF Outdoors soon to be located at Harbor Bay Parkway. We have delightful shopping at both ends of Alameda. On the East end there is Park Street. recently revitalized our beautiful historical theater and many Park Street Retail Store fronts. Creativity turned an old auto dealer into The Market Place, a fine shopping establishment. Then on the West end we have Webster Street with easy access from the tube. The vision for Webster is to reinforce its role as gateway to the Island. We can't forget Bridge Station, sitting along our antique Railroad with unique business. Then there is Bridgeside Shopping Center housing Nob Hill one of the many fine food grocery experiences

As the Chamber's President, I know the skills; commitments and hard work of our business owners; board, Chamber staff and the determination of each person are to continue our local vision of developing thriving business districts forward. Our team is unstoppable, bringing even new endeavors and possibilities for our members and business. In this town, the Chamber offers an edge to access opportunities for business growth.
