The Events Calendar will provide up-to-the-minute information about each month's events, luncheons and meetings. The Chamber Calendar is a great vehicle for important announcements for it's members and the business community in Alameda County. Online Member Promotion The online member promotion facilitates the advertising of members' businesses, products and services. From the Member Directory interested visitors will be able to select a company's business listing or search for a local business by using the directory search engine. Product advertisement In addition to the business directory listings members can advertise their products and services on key high trafficked pages on the website. Members wanting to promote their company on-line should contact the Chamber for details about these opportunities. "We invite our members and the local community to visit the site, bookmark it and use this resource on a regular basis," said Victoria Brown, 2003 Alameda Chamber of Commerce president. "The site is dynamic and has been designed to provide comprehensive, up-to-date information and be our business-to-business and community resource," said Melody Marr, Chamber, CEO. "With the help of Jack Frost Design the development was accomplished on time and on target with a real focus on the online needs of the Chamber, our members and the community "she said. "We believe we have accomplished our initial goals and look forward to continuing the development of our new place in Cyberspace."
